BTST014 is the cult classic Billy Brown!
Billy Brown is one of those bands everyone shares once in awhile in the deathcore pages but no one really knows much about them other then they’re from Tijuana and only put out 3 songs via 187 Records! Who else, like myself, found these guys on the 187 Records Compilation albums?? A band that is pretty much an enigma at this point will finally be getting their songs pressed on a physical
format as well as a shirt for the very first time! The band never made merch back then and only had CD-R’s with printed artwork for their 3 Track Demo.

That’s what won me over with Billy Brown when I first heard them, the mean vocals. Obviously accompanying the nasty vocals are great breakdowns, slow and nasty with some raw production that captures what the era was all about! ..Hell we even get some movie samples in the tracks too! Can’t be MySpace deathcore without a few samples tossed in for good measure, right?
Now, what most of you didn’t probably know was that the band also recorded another EP a few years after their demo titled Brutos. The EP showcases a more death metal sound but it still kicks ass! These 4 songs will also be added on this pressing totalling in 7 songs!
The band wanted to keep the artwork true to their native land, very festive and Mexican proud with a badass mariachi guy and traditional artwork/colours. If you’re guys are familiar with the OG artwork of the mariachi guy, we revamped it for the artwork but brought back the puke green of the OG for the shirt!
