GWBG was a short lived poster child band for “MySpace scene grind”. When someone brings up scene grind this is the first band I think of. Short spazzing songs, bree bree’s, pummelling drum machine, movie samples and of course a gimmick(and I mean that in the best way possible) self proclaiming “Pirate Grind”, you get the gist of you know the band.
This release is a full blown discography! We have their 2007 full length “Beaten To A Bloody Pulp, and for the first time on any physical format, their EP titled “Headless Body, Topless Bar” and the cherry on top their last single they put out before calling it quits “Devoured By Maggots”. This release has been named “Beaten To A Bloodier Pulp” which is a type of Part 2 follow up name to their 07’ full length.
The artwork is very cool! If you’re familiar with the OG artwork, you’ll notice it was a man tied up, bloody, and dead..but why?? Well now with this release we answer that by showing WHO did the beating, and as you can see it’s a mysterious figure with pirate like features who’s done the dirty to this bald man. Big thanks to Keith for once again nailing it!
As you can see we also will be having merch! When’s the last time you’ve seen a GWBG shirt? We brought back an OG design that I feel people will really love. It was a hard choice between this one & the My Little Pony, I figured this choice would be the one that may be actually worn by you guys haha Printed on Gildan heavy cotton. Last but not least shorts! I know it’s fall now, but figured I’d slip in the last pair of shorts for the season..and hell next summer you’ll be ready to rock them! Printed on an athletic short just like the UTG & FFBG shorts! Deep pockets and a nice breathable material.
