I know I did an OG drop of these but a lot of you guys missed out so I reached out to the band to repress the self titled but also add their Demo and their OOP ep The Omen! 20 tracks of brutal Mexican deathcore.
This shits angry, heavy and unforgiving. Though Mexico didn’t have the biggest deathcore scene, the bands that came out were a force to be reckoned with, as they put out some of the most brutal and raw music that blew a lot of the American bands out of the water back then. HCTK was not an exception. Vocalist José is one of best underground vocalists. The amount of emotion and anger that comes through his vocals is incredible, really gives the whole sound a new level of pissed. Guitars and bass are as what’s expected, pure chaos and heaviness and then the drums from David are machine gun precision. Fast, technical and brutal. He slips in some double bass int here that’s so fast it makes me think of the first time I heard “94 Hours” by As I Lay Dying. Blew my mind.
