If you haven’t heard these guys and gals yet, I suggest you get out from under that rock. Slamwhich packs a punch and they’re a cut above the rest of these revival bands. The revival has been strong and producing some great bands bringing back the 2000’s sound we all loved but damn is Slamwich bringing it. They check off all the necessary points to what 2006 deathcore was. We have highs, we have nasty lows, brees, huge breakdowns, slammy parts, bass drops, gang chants, movie samples… a perfect recipe. Frankie, Andrea and the band know exactly what they’re doing and nail it.
This is their debut release entitled Blood Thirst Commands This Hellscape. A full blown EP that leaves you with 0 breathing room. It’s just one punch after another. I suggest you grab a copy and witness the growth of this band from the start as they’re definitely going to be turning more heads then they already have. This is AOTY for me!
