Well well well, look what the cat dragged in! BTST’s second split release! This time it’s with 4..that’s right.. FOUR bands! All active and bringing back that classic 2000’s sound while putting their own spin on the genre. Let’s break down each band shall we?
SERLING! If you haven’t heard of these guys yet then you just have been in a coma for the last year. These guys are picking up traction faster then the turd that fell from Amber Heards anus! Heavy as hell mathcore/deathcore. Insane stuff right here. I truly think the way this band is going, they’ll be a household name in no time!
HOPSCOTCH BATTLESCARS! Not only are they from my home county of Canada, this band is one of my favourite acts to come out in the last year or so. Everything about them is a breath of fresh air. I fell in love with their logo as soon as I saw it, then I checked them out & that solidified my love for ‘em. Spazzy chaotic white belt grind with a punk attitude, in the vein of 2 O’ Clock Girlfriend, HHLL & Graf Orlock.
KILPRÈZ is just mind blowing mathcore with enough chaotic-ness it’ll make you miss The Dillinger Escape Plan much less.
CLIFFORD HOYT bringing you early 2000’s screamo/grind hybrid like it’s 2001!
