Excited is an understatement. Thumbscrew was a TX based band that did it better than everyone else. One of the most unhinged, chaotic & unrelenting bands I’ve ever had the pleasure of coming across. These guys blend your metalcore/grind sound to perfection while adding some of the craziest fight riffs & insane breakdowns.
As most of you probably don’t know, Thumbscrew had 3 releases before All Is Quiet. 1 full length and 2 EP’s. As the first full length and EP feature OG vocalist Matt, they were off limits to repress, BUT, once Dan moved from bass to vocals they released an EP titled Beauty Is You Dead and this was good as gold to make happen physically! BIYD is 4 early/alternate versions from songs that made it into All Is Quiet. It’s incredible cool to hear these songs we all fell in love with in a much more raw sound with new samples, added parts, different tons etc!
Originally released on a CD-R with sharpie and handed out at shows, Beauty Is You Dead finally gets a proper release with full artwork for all you guys to own a copy of this gem. Limited to 100 hand numbered copies, once they’re gone, they’re gone!
