BTST175 is TORN OPEN
Torn Open have been making moves since their last release with BTST. They’re now signed to Blue Grape, have tons of touring planned, and just released one of the most vicious EP’s as of late titled “Torn The Fuck Open VOL. 2.
This is a continuation from their VOL. 1 EP that we released last year. This EP is a total 180 on regards to sound evolution, instruments, recording and production. Everything is top notch without coming off as over produced. They have the perfect blend of rawness while still maintaining a huge sound!
First thing I noticed was Sofia’s vocals when I heard the EP for the first time. Still has her signature highs but man did she grow into her vocals. She blows half the dudes in the scene out of the water, insane! Margot and Marcelo on guitars just shred, they’re heavy, they set the tone for the songs and they don’t let up. Drums are machine gun, they keep the fast pace sound throughout the EP and the double bass is not overused but when it is, it’s ferocious. Bass is crunchy as hell, there’s no denying that. The bass lines are the cherry on-top of this EP. Everything blends so well together. These guys and gals are in it for the long haul and this release just put that nail in the coffin for them!
we have merch and Tapes as well! Tapes are housed in a vintage case with transparent pink and limited to 150 copies but BTST will only have 50 for sale.
CD’s are limited to 325 copies, but BTST will have 200 to sell and the rest going to Blue Grape and the band for tour.
