here we go!! Another huge band for the label, the Christian deathcore band WITH BLOOD COMES CLEANSING!
I don’t think they need an introduction BUT just incase we got some newbies here, then here’s a little run down for ya. WBCC was one of those bands that just should have been bigger than they actually were. The talent was there, they had a huge sound with their own spin. These guys were 1 of 2 bands that were Christian and I didn’t believe it at first listen, second was Impending Doom. I remember thinking “Damn how is this a Christian band this shit is so fucking heavy!”. Some of the best deathcore you’ll hear. Insane riffs, nasty breakdowns, gang chants, squealing vocals here and there, what else could you ask for?
They released 2 albums, Golgotha which was on Blood & Ink Records and second was Horror which was on the famous Victory Records. But before that, they put out this little banger EP called DERN. Released digitally minus a 2 song sampler CD-R they handed out at Cornerstone to get the word out for the EP. This release is the roots of the band! You can hear their sound forming into what we all fell In love with.
Artwork was done by Keith Carlson who came up with the whole theme. He incorporated roots, blood, cleansing, and growth from suffering. He nailed it and we couldn’t ask for a better turnout! Also the dude did the DERN font in ambigram(read it upside and right side up). What a manic!
